Privacy Policy

Keelscope is the data controller for personal data collected through https://keelscope.com. Contact for any privacy question or request: hello@keelscope.com.
What we collect
- Order details — your name, email address, the brief you write, and the service, amount and invoice number. You give us these directly at checkout.
- Payment metadata — the payment processor's transaction identifier and whether the payment succeeded. We never receive your card number, CVV or bank credentials.
- Delivery correspondence — the emails we exchange about your order, and any material you send us to do the work.
- Server logs — IP address, request time and user agent, kept for security and troubleshooting.
We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal data with anyone for marketing.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To perform the contract — processing your payment, delivering the service, and sending your invoice and delivery emails.
- Legal obligation — retaining invoices and transaction records for tax and accounting.
- Legitimate interests — securing the site, preventing fraud, and answering support requests.
We do not send marketing email unless you separately ask us to, so we do not rely on consent for it.
Who we share it with
These are the only third parties that receive personal data, and each receives the minimum needed:
- PayPal — to take payment. PayPal is an independent controller of the data you give it directly, under its own privacy policy.
- Our email provider — to deliver confirmation and delivery emails.
- Our hosting provider — which stores the order database on our behalf.
We disclose data to authorities only where legally required, and will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
International transfers
Our processors operate outside India and the EEA. Where data is transferred internationally, it is done under the processor's standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Invoices and transaction records — 8 years, as required for tax and accounting.
- Briefs, deliverables and correspondence — 2 years after delivery, then deleted.
- Server logs — 90 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it to another provider.
Email hello@keelscope.com and we will respond within 30 days, free of charge. We may need to keep invoice records even after a deletion request, because tax law requires it — we will tell you exactly what was kept and why.
If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to your local data protection authority, or in India to the Data Protection Board.
Cookies
We set only the cookies needed for the site to work — session and security cookies. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, which is why you aren't asked to accept anything. PayPal sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout pages, under its own policy.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment webhooks are cryptographically verified before they are acted on. Access to the order database is limited to the people who fulfil orders. No card data is stored on our systems at any point.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and email you if the change materially affects an active order.
